Job Description

As a Distillation Operator, you will oversee the operation of distillation machinery. This role requires managing equipment settings and adjustments, conducting quality control checks, and collaborating with team members to enhance process efficiency. You will help ensure that production runs smoothly and meets safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate distillation machinery to separate chemical compounds.
  • Analyze and interpret data from distillation processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers to optimize equipment performance.
  • Implement process improvements based on quality metrics.
  • Conduct safety audits and participate in safety drills.
  • Prepare reports on production activities and performance.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in chemical processes is a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or chemical processing role.
