Commercial and Industrial Designer (Rug Designer)

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Rug Designer who will be responsible for creating unique and innovative designs for various types of rugs, including hand-woven, machine-made, and tufted options. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of color theory, composition, and textile design.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and sketch new rug designs aligned with brand aesthetics.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and manufacturable.
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Create mood boards and presentations to communicate design concepts.
• Analyze design performance and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Foster a collaborative team environment to enhance design output.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design or related field
• Master's degree in Textile Design preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in rug or carpet design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• 3D Design Software

Certifications

• Certified Textile Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent
