Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Grinding Machine Operator who will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining tap grinding machines with a focus on producing high-quality components. The ideal candidate will ensure precision and efficiency in the grinding process while adhering to safety standards and operational protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate tap grinding machines to finalize precise tapped components.
• Regularly inspect machines for proper function and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Document production data and machine performance metrics.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations while operating machinery.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production updates and improvements.
• Assist in developing best practices for machine operation and maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with quality control to ensure all products meet specifications.
• Support initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency in manufacturing operations.

Requirements

Education

• Some college coursework in machining or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience with CNC grinding machines is a plus.
