Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Furnace Tender who will be responsible for operating and monitoring furnace equipment to achieve optimal results in bending metal. A strong understanding of safety protocols and machinery maintenance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up furnace equipment for production runs based on specifications.
• Optimize the bending process to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the bending process.
• Document production results and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safe workplace culture.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certifications in furnace operation preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in metal fabrication

Technical Skills

• CNC bending experience

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC bending machines: Hands-on experience operating CNC technology for precision bending.
• Knowledge of metallurgy principles: Understanding of the materials and how they behave under heat treatment.
