Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor, you will oversee the daily activities of our production and operating workers. You will manage a dedicated team, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role is essential for maintaining workflow and meeting production goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations to meet production schedules.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a hazard-free work environment.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Streamline operations to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Work closely with inventory management to ensure material availability.
• Facilitate conflict resolution within the team.
• Engage in continuous training and development of team members.
• Implement new technologies to optimize production processes.
• Participate in hiring decisions for new employees.
• Report on production performance to upper management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in management or engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in production management
