Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for advising patients, managing prescriptions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement patient safety protocols in medication dispensing.
• Provide immunization services and health screenings.
• Manage pharmacy staff and provide training as needed.
• Advocate for patient-centered care approaches within the pharmacy.
• Engage in community outreach programs to educate the public about medication safety.
• Ensure compliance with the pharmacy's quality assurance standards.
• Conduct research and stay updated on new pharmaceutical therapies.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
