Job Description

Join our team as a Drilling and Boring Machine Tool Setter, where you will operate specialized machines to create precision threaded holes in metal parts. The role requires expertise in machine operation and a keen eye for detail, ensuring all finished products meet the highest quality standards in the manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate tapping machines according to technical specifications.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and tools for efficiency.
• Implement maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
• Ensure quality checks are carried out before production runs.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to meet production goals.
• Record production metrics and report to the supervisor.
• Identify tooling issues and rectify them promptly.
• Assist in inventory management for machine parts and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in all activities.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in machining preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in machining or manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Reading
• Machine Maintenance

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
