Computer Numerically Controlled Tool Operator

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Laser Operator to produce top-quality components by operating and maintaining CNC laser cutting systems. The position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines for various materials including metal and plastic.
• Conduct quality checks during production to ensure consistency.
• Load and configure raw materials for laser cutting.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as they arise.
• Maintain production logs and quality documentation.
• Assist in training new operators on laser cutting techniques.
• Work with engineering to improve machine performance and efficiency.
• Follow industry safety standards and practices at all times.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production targets and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or associate degree in machining or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC laser machines
