Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you'll be responsible for the operation and upkeep of bobbin cleaning machines. The ideal candidate will bring precision, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining machinery for optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the performance of cleaning machinery throughout shifts.
• Conduct inspections on the quality of bobbins pre- and post-cleaning.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning cycles and inventory levels.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for scheduled equipment checks.
• Train new staff members on the operation of cleaning machinery and safety procedures.
• Evaluate and suggest improvements to cleaning processes for enhanced efficiency.
• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss updates and share best practices.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support cross-training efforts among team members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience operating other textile machinery is preferred

Technical Skills

• Advanced mechanical knowledge
• Safety protocols adherence

Languages

• English: Fluent
