Job Description

The Materials Control Associate plays a key role in managing and controlling materials inventory, ensuring timely availability and maintaining accurate stock levels. This position requires liaison with suppliers and coordination across internal teams to support production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts in inventory optimization and cost reduction.
  • Create reports on inventory levels and usage patterns for management review.
  • Establish relationships with new suppliers and maintain existing partnerships.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects within the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations regarding material handling.
  • Coordinate with quality assurance teams to resolve material quality issues.
  • Assist in preparing budgets related to materials procurement.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years in a similar role with demonstrated expertise in materials management.
