Responsibilities

  • Responding rapidly to emergency calls and providing the necessary medical assistance.
  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and implementing treatment plans.
  • Administering drugs, IV fluids, and other medical interventions.
  • Performing technical skills pertinent to patient care.
  • Maintaining medical equipment and ensuring operational readiness.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
  • Documenting all pre-hospital care and patient interactions.
  • Adhering to legal and ethical guidelines while on duty.
  • Engaging in training exercises to improve response skills.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in Advanced Life Support
Experience
  • At least 2 years as an EMT-B or equivalent experience
