We are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic School Library Media Specialist to join our educational institution. As a School Library Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the school library, developing and implementing educational programs, and fostering a love for reading among students.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the library, ensuring resources are readily available and accessible to students and staff.
• Engage students in reading initiatives and programs that promote literacy and learning.
• Develop instructional materials and resources to enhance support for classroom activities.
• Provide training for students on information retrieval and research strategies.
• Work with the administration to align library objectives with overall educational goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Education, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Library Media Specialist or related role.
