Job Description

As a Resident Care Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their well-being, and providing emotional and physical support. The ideal candidate will possess empathy, patience, and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of individuals in our care.

Responsibilities

  • Help residents with personal care tasks, promoting dignity and independence.
  • Take part in social and recreational activities to engage residents.
  • Assist with meal preparations and ensure appropriate nutritional support.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss resident care plans and progress.
  • Encourage residents’ participation in daily activities for social engagement.
  • Identify and report risks and concerns related to residents’ well-being.
  • Support training and mentoring of new staff and volunteers.
  • Comply with regulations and participate in safety drills.
  • Enhance care quality by following best practices and guidelines.
  • Provide transportation assistance for residents as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CNA Certification preferred
Experience
  • Experience in geriatric care is a plus.
