Kiln Furniture Caster

Job Description

The Kiln Furniture Caster will play a key role in our manufacturing process, responsible for casting, drying, and firing kiln furniture products. The ideal candidate must effectively work both independently and collaboratively to achieve production targets and uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on casting machines and equipment.
• Monitor the drying and firing process to ensure product integrity.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and feedback.
• Document production activities and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and report to management.
• Engage in problem-solving discussions to enhance team productivity.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in Manufacturing or related field is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in ceramics or manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Mold Preparation
• Quality Inspection

• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent
