Job Description

ABC Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Aide. Your role will involve assisting patients with daily activities such as feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene. This position requires a high level of empathy and a strong understanding of patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document patient behavior and communicate changes to the nursing staff.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient care areas.
• Engage patients in conversation to encourage emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a certified patient sitter training program preferred

Experience

• Previous experience working in a healthcare facility is preferred

Technical Skills

• Physical stamina

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
