Job Description

Join our Austin-based team as an Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technologist (IONM Tech). Your responsibility will involve assessing and monitoring the nervous system during critical surgical interventions. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and calibrate monitoring equipment before each surgical case.
  • Continuously monitor neural activity and report significant findings promptly.
  • Work in tandem with a multidisciplinary surgical team to enhance patient safety.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and reports of neuromonitoring activities.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and best practices in neuromonitoring.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant healthcare guidelines and protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Neurophysiology or related field
  • Certification in Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (CNIM) preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring, with advanced techniques preferred.
