Job Description

The Wafer Abrading Machine Tender is responsible for operating and maintaining the wafer abrading machine in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in producing high-quality semiconductor wafers essential for various electronic devices.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate the wafer abrading machine based on specific production requirements.
  • Document operational data and maintain accurate logs of machine performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues that arise during production.
  • Adhere to quality standards and participate in quality control processes.
  • Assist in training new employees on machine operation and safety measures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Engage in team meetings to discuss production schedules and improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree in manufacturing or engineering preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in wafer fabrication, specifically with wafer abrading machines
