Job Description

The Fund Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records for various investment funds. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and investment vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for assigned investment portfolios.
  • Calculate and verify fund performance and ensure the accuracy of fund valuations.
  • Reconcile cash and securities positions and investigate discrepancies.
  • Generate and review investor statements and respond to investor inquiries.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of audit work papers and respond to auditor inquiries.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Additional certifications are a plus
Experience
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment accounting
Technical Skills
  • SAP
  • Oracle

Certifications
  • CFA or CPA preferred
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
