Neurodiagnostic Technologist

Job Description

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders. You will perform tests such as EEG, EMG, and NCS to help healthcare providers develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform EEG, EMG, and other neurodiagnostic tests with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist physicians in monitoring patients during diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure functionality.
• Educate patients about test procedures and follow-up care.
• Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience or allied health field

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in neurodiagnostics or clinical lab

Technical Skills

• Nerve Conduction Studies
• Lab Equipment Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Critical Thinking

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
