Job Description

As the Director of In-Service Education, you will spearhead the design and implementation of our professional development programs. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our staff is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their positions. You will collaborate with various departments and external partners to create impactful learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation and assessment of training programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the staff.
  • Implement new training methodologies and technology to enhance learning experiences.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the organization.
  • Coordinate with HR to align training initiatives with performance management processes.
  • Oversee the scheduling and logistics of training events and sessions.
  • Mentor and guide training staff and instructional designers.
  • Identify emerging trends in employee development and adapt training programs accordingly.
  • Engage in budget forecasting and strategic planning for future training needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Master's degree is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years in managerial roles within education or training.
