Job Description

We are seeking a Carpenter's Helper to join our dynamic team in Atlanta. This role involves assisting skilled carpenters in various construction tasks, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring high-quality workmanship on every project.

Responsibilities

• Help in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
• Contribute to the installation of cabinets, doors, and other fixtures.
• Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and properly maintained.
• Unload and manage construction materials at the job site.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Assist in managing waste and debris on the job site.
• Learn and execute basic carpentry skills under supervision.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in the carpentry or construction field

Technical Skills

• General carpentry knowledge
• Safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• OSHA certification preferred
• CPR certification is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in drywall installation: Knowledge in properly installing drywall as part of construction projects.
• Understanding of building codes: Familiarity with local construction and safety standards.
