Job Description
Join Creative Arts Academy as a Music Educator, where you will inspire and educate students through engaging music classes. You’ll develop tailored lesson plans, assess student progress, and facilitate concerts and events.
Responsibilities
Educate students in music theory, instrument technique, and vocal performance.
Foster a supportive environment encouraging risk-taking in musical expression.
Guide students through music history and appreciation.
Coordinate with regional music competitions and festivals for student participation.
Develop relationships with music organizations for partnership opportunities.
Facilitate workshops to develop specific skills such as improvisation or composition.
Engage in reflective practices to enhance teaching strategies and effectiveness.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Music or related discipline
Master's degree highly preferred
Experience
Experience in conducting ensembles, choirs, or school bands.
