Job Description

Join us as a Special Education Teacher in our Kindergarten program, focusing on delivering specialized support to children with special needs. Your role will include crafting IEPs, collaborating with parents and staff, and ensuring students thrive in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain routines that support student learning.
  • Guide students in developing communication and social skills.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies and modify them as needed.
  • Provide training and support for paraprofessionals in the classroom.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote awareness of special education programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Special Education or related field is preferred
  • Teaching certifications in Behavior Analysis or related areas
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in special education settings.
