Internal Combustion Engine Inspector

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Internal Combustion Engine Inspector to oversee the quality and safety of our engine production processes. You will diagnose performance issues and collaborate with engineers to implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and physical inspections on engine components.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Identify and report non-conformities, recommending corrective measures.
• Maintain detailed inspection records and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality and reliability.
• Implement corrective actions based on inspection findings.
• Support training initiatives for team members regarding inspection processes.
• Participate in product development discussions to ensure quality metrics are met.
• Provide insights on process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive engineering or quality assurance.

Technical Skills

• Experience with engine testing equipment
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Soft Skills

• Time management skills
• Strong teamwork abilities

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Certification
• Certified Quality Technician (CQT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Spanish: Conversational
