Responsibilities

  • Lead quality inspections on production lines to ensure compliance with metallurgical standards.
  • Conduct destructive and non-destructive testing methodologies.
  • Analyze trends and metrics from inspection reports to identify improvement areas.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and implement solutions.
  • Maintain compliance with internal and external quality assurance regulations.
  • Compile and present findings to management during quality reviews.
  • Participate in manufacturing process reviews and suggest changes based on inspection findings.
  • Ensure testing equipment is operated safely and effectively at all times.
  • Document all inspection activities clearly and concisely.
  • Provide insights into material behaviors and failures as part of quality assurance efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science
Experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in metallurgical inspection
