Packaging Supervisor

Job Description

The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the packaging process in a manufacturing facility. This includes ensuring that products are packaged correctly, organizing packaging materials, and managing a team of packaging staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure the highest packaging standards are met.
• Conduct periodic training sessions for staff to keep them updated on new processes and technology.
• Interface with sales and engineering teams to develop effective packaging solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Evaluate performance metrics to drive improvements in packaging efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and maintain a healthy work environment in compliance with company policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience in packaging or supply chain management role

Technical Skills

• Packaging machinery and equipment
• Quality control systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Lean manufacturing experience: Proven track record in applying lean principles to improve efficiency.
