Crane and Tower Operators

Job Description

As a Crane and Tower Operator, you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of mold shifting equipment in our manufacturing facility. You will play a critical role in maintaining the production flow and ensuring molds are prepared for production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Shift molds according to the production schedule and prioritize tasks based on demand.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and molds for any signs of damage.
• Lubricate and clean molds to ensure smooth operation and longevity.
• Assist in the setup and removal of molds from machinery as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure molds are production-ready.
• Follow safety protocols strictly and use necessary protective gear.
• Keep records of mold shifting activities and report any issues to supervisors.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on cranes and other lifting equipment.
• Resolve minor issues with molds or equipment, escalating major issues to management.
• Mentor and support new team members in operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training related to manufacturing preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in mold shifting or heavy equipment operation.
