Job Description
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing medication therapy and improving patient outcomes through effective clinical interventions. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Responsibilities
- Assess and document patient medication history.
- Implement and review clinical protocols for medication management.
- Provide expertise in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
- Supervise pharmacy interns and technicians as needed.
- Participate in research and clinical trials related to pharmacotherapy.
- Engage in patient counseling and medication education.
- Monitor drug interactions and adverse effects.
- Collaborate with health care teams to ensure safe medication practices.
Requirements
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)
- Additional certifications in pharmacotherapy preferred
Experience
- More than 5 years of experience in a clinical setting
