Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our vibrant dental team. The RDA will assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and care. Successful candidates will be responsible for taking x-rays, preparing dental materials, and maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the dentist during a range of dental procedures.
  • Take and process dental x-rays efficiently.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of all tools and instruments.
  • Assist in patient education on oral health care.
  • Document and maintain patient information accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with both patients and team members.
  • Assist in the scheduling and management of patient appointments.
  • Help implement infection control measures.
  • Manage the dental office's supply inventory.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
  • Proficiency in taking dental radiographs
  • Familiarity with dental software
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
Certifications
  • Current certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
  • CPR certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Spanish: Conversational
