Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Public Health Analyst, where you'll leverage data to inform health policies and programs that directly impact community well-being. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and a passion for public health.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate public health needs through data collection and analysis.
  • Advise on best practices for public health initiatives.
  • Lead community health assessments and report findings.
  • Engage with stakeholders to foster collaboration on health projects.
  • Track progress towards public health goals and suggest improvements.
  • Provide training and support to partner organizations on health issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in health program analysis or community health
Technical Skills
  • SPSS and/or Stata
  • GIS software
Soft Skills
  • Team collaboration
  • Problem-solving
Certifications
  • Certified in Public Health (CPH)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with public health grant writing: Proficiency in crafting grant proposals for health initiatives.
  • Knowledge of health policy formulation: Understanding of how to influence health policy through data analysis.
