Job Description

As a Psychiatric Aide, you will provide essential support to individuals dealing with mental health issues. You will assist with daily living activities, observe and document patient behavior, and help implement care plans developed by mental health professionals. Your role is crucial in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities and personal care.
  • Observe and record patient behavior and mental state changes.
  • Help implement treatment plans designed by mental health professionals.
  • Lead group therapy sessions or activities under supervision.
  • Provide a nurturing environment to encourage patient engagement.
  • Contribute to care meetings to develop more effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a certified Mental Health Aide training program is a plus
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare, mental health, or social services.
