Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop tailored treatment plans. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs using standardized tests and observations.
  • Provide therapy in various settings such as clinics, schools, or home health care.
  • Implement evidence-based practices in therapy sessions.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of patient interactions.
  • Support patients with special needs, including those with autism or dysphagia.
  • Work with family members to support communication in natural environments.
  • Contribute to community education programs on speech and language development.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct teletherapy sessions as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certification in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is a plus
Experience
  • Experience with pediatric populations is preferred.
