Job Description

As a Cemetery Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding families through the process of making arrangements for the burial or cremation of their loved ones. Your empathetic approach and expert knowledge of our services will ensure that you provide the highest level of care and support. This position entails maintaining cemetery grounds and ensuring that all documentation is accurately processed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate support to families during their time of loss.
  • Assist with pre-need planning and educational workshops.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for timely service delivery.
  • Ensure cemetery grounds are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Follow up with families post-service for feedback and additional support.
  • Actively participate in community events to promote services.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Handle all financial transactions with accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Funeral Service or Mortuary Science preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a counseling role in the funeral industry.
