We are seeking a Sailor and Marine Oiler to support the daily operations of our vessels. Responsibilities include operating navigational equipment, maintaining ship systems, and ensuring efficient cargo operations. Experience in various ship types and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the loading and unloading of cargo while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the vessel's systems and report any issues.
• Support the Chief Mate in navigation and maneuvering the ship.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Communicate regularly with the crew regarding operational tasks and safety measures.
• Document maintenance and operational records for compliance.
• Assist in responding to emergencies effectively.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Engage in continuous learning about maritime regulations and practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a maritime environment is beneficial.
