Job Description

The Agency Legal Counsel will play a key role in providing comprehensive legal guidance to our agency and clients. This role requires an in-depth understanding of advertising and marketing laws, as well as the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate contracts and agreements ensuring they align with agency policies.
  • Provide legal guidance on intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  • Engage with clients to offer legal insights for their advertising campaigns.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws that could affect the agency and clients.
  • Assist in the development of compliance programs and legal training materials.
  • Prepare legal documentation and ensure timely filing with regulatory bodies.
  • Support cross-functional teams by addressing legal questions and concerns as they arise.
  • Analyze potential legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate communications between the agency and government regulators.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current in legal practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Master of Laws (LL.M.) in relevant field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience, particularly in advertising and corporate law
