Job Description

The Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technologist will conduct a variety of laboratory tests to analyze and diagnose microbes, viruses, and other pathogens. This role requires a strong understanding of microbiology testing techniques and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological tests and analyses on various samples.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols.
• Communicate results to clients and colleagues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for compliance.
• Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods.
• Participate in quality control programs to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to enhance testing efficiency.
• Manage laboratory supplies and stock levels effectively.
• Stay updated with industry developments and best practices.
• Provide mentorship to junior laboratory staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• Experience with molecular biology techniques preferred.
