Job Description

We are looking for skilled Cutting and Slicing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our manufacturing team in Chicago. As a Sample Box Maker, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality sample boxes to meet specific client specifications. Your role will include operating machinery, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with team members to optimize production processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust cutting and slicing machines for optimal performance.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed.
• Train new operators on machinery operation and safety procedures.
• Assist in troubleshooting machinery issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist in quality control checks throughout the production process.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and mentor junior staff.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and manufacturing standards.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Create and maintain detailed production reports as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in box-making or related manufacturing field is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
