Training and Development Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Training and Development Specialist to help elevate the skills and capabilities of our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and evaluate training programs that foster professional growth and contribute to our mission.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and interactive training materials to enhance learning.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees as needed.
• Work with external consultants to enhance training programs.
• Monitor employee progress and provide feedback to promote continuous improvement.
• Assist in the onboarding process to ensure new hires are adequately trained.
• Support diversity and inclusion initiatives through training programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree in Education or Organizational Development is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in training, development, or organizational psychology

Technical Skills

• Learning Management Software (LMS)
• Project Management

• Adaptability
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of nonprofit fundraising practices: Insight into fundraising principles specifically for nonprofits.
