Job Description

As a Construction and Building Inspector, you will be responsible for evaluating construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes, and reporting any discrepancies to management. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate construction techniques and materials used in projects.
• Ensure that safety and environmental regulations are followed.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve any compliance issues.
• Analyze and provide input on building design modifications.
• Prepare and maintain records of inspections and findings.
• Coordinate with local enforcement agencies as necessary.
• Facilitate communication between project managers and clients.
• Attend workshops to enhance professional knowledge.
• Perform safety audits on construction sites.
• Identify and mitigate potential problems on site.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Construction Technology or a related field
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience

• 3 years of experience in a construction-related position
