Job Description

As a Purchasing Manager at Retail Dynamics LLC, you will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies that enhance our merchandising efforts. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will tailor inventory selections to meet customer demands while maximizing profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute merchandise strategies to improve sales performance
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms
  • Analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings
  • Coordinate with marketing for promotional campaigns regarding merchandise
  • Manage inventory and sales forecasting to adjust purchasing strategies accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in purchasing activities
  • Train new employees on purchasing policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports for upper management on purchasing trends and forecasts
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align inventory with consumer needs
  • Maintain records of purchasing activity and supplier relationships

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3-6 years of experience in purchasing or merchandise management
