Job Description

The Procurement Clerk will be integral to our procurement team, responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships. This role is essential in ensuring that our organization operates efficiently and cost-effectively. Candidates should possess strong negotiation skills and have a keen eye for detail, as you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate procurement records and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers for materials and services.
  • Negotiate and manage procurement agreements with suppliers.
  • Coordinate procurement processes, including order processing and tracking.
  • Assess and monitor supplier performance metrics and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill procurement needs.
  • Conduct market research to keep procurement practices competitive.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of procurement transactions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Support audits related to procurement functions.
  • Facilitate supplier onboarding and relationship management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
