Octave Board Assembler

Job Description

As an Octave Board Assembler, you will be pivotal in the assembly and testing processes for Octave boards. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that each unit meets our high standards of quality and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test Octave boards in alignment with production schedules.
• Conduct detailed inspections to verify adherence to quality standards.
• Utilize assembly tools efficiently and effectively.
• Read technical specifications to guide assembly tasks.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency.
• Provide feedback on assembly processes and tooling.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in electronics or related field is preferable

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing environment preferred.

Technical Skills

• Troubleshooting skills
• IPC standards familiarity

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Certifications

• Soldering certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with IPC-A-610: Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards for electronic assembly is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment: Ability to thrive in a high-demand manufacturing setting.
