Civil Engineer

Job Description

Join our County Engineering Department as a Civil Engineer, where you will lead various infrastructure projects, from planning through execution. Ideal candidates will have experience in managing projects related to roads, bridges, and public facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
• Work closely with contractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Analyze and interpret technical data for project planning and execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the quality and progress of ongoing projects.
• Review and approve engineering designs and modifications.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory compliance and permits.
• Train and mentor junior engineering staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master’s degree preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
