Automotive Service Technician / Undercar Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Undercar Specialist to perform inspections and repairs on key undercarriage systems such as suspensions and brakes. Your expertise will help us ensure the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and test undercarriage components to ensure functionality.
• Perform advanced repairs and diagnostics on braking systems and components.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for record-keeping.
• Assist in the training of junior technicians as needed.
• Prepare vehicles for state inspections as required.
• Engage with suppliers to source high-quality automotive parts.
• Monitor the quality of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in automotive maintenance and repair is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in automotive service or repair

Certifications

• ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence)
• Additional certifications in vehicle systems is a plus
