Job Description

As a Water Meter Reader at Utilities Corp, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of water consumption records for both residential and commercial clients. Your primary responsibility will be visiting assigned properties to read water meters and gather data to facilitate accurate billing. Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills are essential, as you will also handle customer inquiries and report any issues related to the meters. Responsibilities

  • Accurately read and document water consumption metrics across assigned areas.
  • Record and report any technical issues or meter failures immediately.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping of all meter readings.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline reading processes.
  • Participate in route management and adjustments as necessary.
  • Follow safety procedures meticulously while on duty.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of meter devices as needed.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new hires by sharing best practices.
  • Engage in continuous learning about water supply systems.

Requirements

Education

Experience
  • No previous experience is required; training will be provided.
