Job Description

As a Fishing and Hunting Worker, you will play a crucial role in capturing and removing nuisance animals from various properties. Your work will involve assessing animal behavior, coordinating with property owners, and ensuring humane treatment throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize GPS tracking and mapping software during animal capture efforts.
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely.
  • Engage in community outreach and education on wildlife management.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and government agencies when necessary.
  • Respond promptly to calls for wildlife removal services.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to ensure animal populations are managed effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in wildlife management or related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience in trapping, hunting, or wildlife control is a plus.
