As a Substation Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment within substations. Your work ensures that power supply remains uninterrupted while adhering to the highest safety standards. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance checks on high-voltage equipment.
• Diagnose issues in electrical systems and implement effective solutions.

• Work closely with engineers to improve service operations.
• Train new team members on maintenance processes and safety practices.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Assist with emergency repairs during power outages or failures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in substation maintenance or related electrical work

Technical Skills

• Electrical diagnostics
• Knowledge of SCADA systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Valid electrician's license/certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working with SCADA systems: Knowledge of SCADA systems will be advantageous.
• Experience in transformer maintenance: Hands-on experience with transformers and their maintenance.
