Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of metal and plastic components. Your responsibilities will include operating heat-treating furnaces and performing metallurgical testing to achieve desired material properties.

Responsibilities

• Perform heat-treating operations including carburizing, quenching, and tempering.
• Inspect and test samples to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring equipment is well cared for.
• Identify and report any defects or inefficiencies in the production line.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product standards are met.
• Continuously review and enhance operational procedures for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in heat treating technology is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or heat treating

Technical Skills

• Understanding of metallurgical properties
• Safety protocols

Languages

• English: Fluent
