Job Description

The Monomer Recovery Operator is crucial in our mission to recover valuable materials from polymer waste. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring optimal performance while adhering to safety protocols in a dynamic chemical production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety discussions before shifts to promote awareness.
• Train new employees on equipment operation and safety guidelines.
• Analyze data trends to identify areas for operational improvement.
• Support quality assurance practices to meet production specifications.
• Communicate regularly with management about operational challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in chemical engineering or related field
• Associate's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a chemical production setting

Technical Skills

• Process improvement methodologies
• Mechanical aptitude

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Forklift Operator Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
