Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Hoist and Winch Operators to join our dedicated team. This role requires proficiency in operating various hoist mechanisms while adhering to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient lifting operations to support our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Control hoists to lift and reposition heavy objects as per production needs.
  • Perform thorough inspections of hoisting equipment before usage.
  • Work closely with the Operations Supervisor to schedule lifting tasks.
  • Ensure accuracy and safety in material handling to prevent damage.
  • Keep work area clean and organized, including hoist controls.
  • Document activity logs, including weights lifted and locations.
  • Provide support to new team members and deliver training.
  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Implement improvements based on operational feedback.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience operating pneumatic hoists in an industrial environment is required.
